Season
Summer
Spring is over, and School's out for the summer! The temperature remains at the seventies, occasionally reaching up into the nineties, and while teens tan at the beach, the horses' coats are silky and shining. The grass sometimes goes brown in the heat, but the plentiful thunderstorms keep them growing green again. stay inside during the storms--the lightning's been known to hit!

Wildlands
Maple Falls This is where mares go to be claimed. They can only be brought into the herd by one of the leads. Maple Falls is a small island just off the coast, and is covered in Maple Trees, except for a small beach, and the falls. Humans have not yet disovered this Island.
Phantom Valley This land is governed by Moonwing Phantom Valley is a hidden valley in the mountains. Snake River cuts through the middle of the valley, and Dead Horse Path leads to it. Few horses dare to settle here. Wolves roam here, and thick fog covers the land. The horses who live here must be fine-boned and fast.
Aspen Creek This land is governed by Nokota Aspen Creek is a large meadow, sheltered by trees. The grass is lush and green, and the creek is clear and fresh. This is where humans most often hunt for wild horses. Many builds of horses settle here.
Ashwood Forest This land is governed by Blue Wings Ashwood forest is a thick, dense forest. It was once burned down, and thick ash still covers the mossy ground. The horses who live here must be small and agile.
Red Fern Valley This land is governed by Black Rose Red Fern Valley is a large, swampy area, named for the numerous red ferns that grow there. The horses who live here must be strong and wide-hoofed.
The Grasslands This land is governed by the bachelor stallions. The Grasslands is a large field. The grass is long and green until the first snows, and there are different wild plants that are favored by horses. There are a few snakes, but not many. The grasslands have been claimed by Bachelors, and a small band of stallions lives there now.

Death Valley Death Valley is in the mountains, near Phantom Valley. Humans ride here often, and the trail that cuts through it is a wonderful place to view wild horses, as well as having an amazing view of the ocean.
Willow Valley (1 sub-board) Willow Valley is a large valley, with a small lake in the center. Young, Strong horses swim to the island in the lake to escape breaking in, but are caught eventually. The stable in Willow Valley houses horses of all different colors, breeds, abilities, and styles. The stalls are large and well-kept, and the horses are always well-fed and groomed. Willow Valley has two tracks. A dirt track, and a turf track. Grand Races are held here, and young Thoroughbreds are also trained here. There is only one ring, but it can be set up for Dressage, Cross Country, Show Jumping, or Western.
Pine Hollow (1 sub-board) Pine Hollow is a large, flat plain, with a wide, shallow lake at the southeast side. It is rimmed by evergreens. The stable in Pine Hollow houses horses of all different colors, breeds, abilities, and styles, though they specialise in Thoroughbreds, Arabians, and other hot-blooded breeds. The stalls are large and well-kept, and the horses are always well-fed and groomed. Pine Hollow has three tracks. A dirt track, a turf track, and a training track. Grand Races are held on the dirt and turf tracks. Young Thoroughbreds are trained on the third track, and more experienced racers are exercised on it. There are seperate rings for Dressage, Cross Country, Show Jumping, and Western. The track is also occasionally used for Show Jumping.
Ivy Gates (1 sub-board) Ivy Gates is a huge, beautiful stable, with lush green fields. The stable is large and elaborate, and the fences encircle the spacious green meadows. The stalls are always clean and spacious, with latches that not even the smartest horse can escape from if not permitted. It is the furthest stable from the mountains, and is therefore the safest. Ivy Gates houses no track, but the arena is used for most events. It is technically owned by Mr. and Mrs. Speidel, but they pay no attention to it, and their daughter, Alyssa Speidel, runs it. The horses here specialize in Show Jumping and halter.
Maplewood (7 sub-boards) This is the town of Maplewood, where the majority of people live. Maplewood is a small town, and is usually peaceful and quiet. Stores, Shops, and Houses are located here.
Maple Ridge (2 sub-boards) These are the apartments of Maplewood.

Maplewood Park Maplewood Park is a large, green park, with a large fountain in the center. Couples, young and old, often take starlit strolls around the park, and there is a playground on one side for younger children.
Plaza Maplewood This is Maplewood's theater. It's small, but clean, and the seats are on a slope, so that people in the back don't have to worry about front seaters' heads blocking their view of the screen. It's mainly a movie theater, but there's a stage in front of the screen, which is used for backgrounds when there's a band playing, scenery when there's a play, or simply left blank with the back curtain up when someone's giving a speech.
Maplewood Mall This is the Maplewood Mall. There are pet stores, department stores, music stores, etc here. While posting, you have to specify which store you are in.

Employment Agency This is where you go to get a job for your character. There will be a list of open/taken jobs.
the Beach There isn't much that needs to be said about the Beach. The beach is sandy and rockless, and the water is usually warm and blue-green. It's just outside the city, near the mountains.
College Welcome to Maplewood, home of the Meteors! This is where College students take classes, party, and live. Though they are known as the Meteors, the College mascot is a Lynx.

Pre-School/Daycare Welcome to the Maplewood daycare! This is where small children, ages two-four, go during the day, when their parents are at college or work. They have no sports, but are known as the Monkeys.
